The content provided through a REActivity is traditional relative to most lab textbooks. So what makes a REActivity unique from other lab delivery methods? REActivities deliberately uses:
A deliberate set of materials and reagents
Value-added laboratory experience-waste was considered.
Practice time and structured validation- each technique REActivity has structured practice time so students have freedoms to explore.
Students revisit techniques repeatedly- This feature serves to validate the importance of each technique covered.
Increased peer-to-peer engagement- Structured through partner work
